Egmont LEGO Star Wars Magazine #44 (English) - 2019 - Resistance Bomber

Released in February 2019, Egmont LEGO® Star Wars Magazine #44 is part of the original English-language run of LEGO Star Wars magazines published by Egmont in the United Kingdom. This issue includes the exclusive Resistance Bomber mini build based on the MG-100 StarFortress bomber seen in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. 

The LEGO Star Wars magazine line originally launched in the UK in 2015 through Egmont Publishing, combining exclusive LEGO mini builds with comics, puzzles, posters, and Star Wars activities. Every issue included a collectible LEGO “gift,” helping establish the magazines as highly collectible releases among LEGO and Star Wars fans. 

Issue #44 comes from the earlier era of the magazine line, before LEGO Star Wars magazines became widely recognized by collectors outside Europe. During this period, magazines were primarily sold through UK and European newsstands in relatively limited print runs and were never broadly distributed in the United States. Because many copies were opened for the included build, surviving collectible examples have become increasingly difficult to find years later.
